Calgary Minor Basketball Association (CMBA) has designated the communities of:

Edgemont	Hamptons	Citadel
Hawkwood	Ranchlands	Sherwood
Simons Valley / Beacon Hill

as one district within CMBA.   Players from these communities are required to register with EBA.  

If you live inside the community boundaries indicated in the map below you would then register through EBA to play in the CMBA

CMBA requires that all families of players have a community membership valid until the end of the season ( March 31, 2011) for insurance reasons.
Community memberships can be from your home community (please bring your membership number and expiry date) 
or
You can choose to purchase an Edgemont community membership.  

Edgemont community memberships can be purchased at the Community Centre during office hours.   

If you do not have your HAWKWOOD or RANCHLANDS membership, you must purchase one or purchase an EDGEMONT membership. 
ONLY persons with addresses in CITADEL may purchase CITADEL memberships.

HAMPTONS residents MUST purchase EDGEMONT community memberships as your homeowner association fee is a landscaping and maintenance fee and does not give the EBA player INSURANCE AS OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIPS.  

If a player wants to play outside their home community, they must first register in their home community and request a transfer from their home community.  They can then register with the outside community, where they will be accepted based on available space in their program.
